- To increase and enhance the political, policy, and public service internship opportunities for Utah State University students.
- To create a formal, centralized, university-wide structure to act as a single point of contact for government and policy internship opportunities for USU students across all areas of academic discipline.
- To create a structure for connecting USU students, faculty, and alumni who have a shared interest in government and politics.
- To create a nexus for the coordination and facilitation of invitations to government officials to participate in USU educational programs.
- To create a centralized entity to promote and coordinate discourse and debate on issues surrounding politics and government.
- To create a mechanism by which university expertise and academic insight can be brought to the policy arena.
- To create a focus point for donors and foundations interested in expanding and supporting experiential, service-learning opportunities in government and policy.
